We started our adventure with the siberian huskies almost 12 years ago, with the purchase of "JUST ONE HUSKY"!! That is when our passion for the breed began. We then wanted just one litter of huskies, could not stand to part with all of them, and so the story goes!! Many years later, and many huskies added to our home, we now have our own husky family!!
Our passion for siberian huskies has grown over the years, and honestly, I can not even imagine what life would be like without them!! I believe that huskies are beautiful creatures that are meant to have lots of room to run and play, and most of all to be part of the family they live with.
Our husky children are VERY SPOILED!! They all have very large fenced in yards with lots of shade trees, home made 8' long dog houses with 2 openings, one to run into, and the other to run out of when they are playing or, just incase more than one,want to be the one to look outside during their naptime. We also have galvinized tubs that hold lots of water for them to splash ,play in the water, or just to lay in to cool off on those hot summer months.
We treat each of our husky children as thought they are "only children", each is loved, spoiled & treated equally. Our puppies are also very special. They are handled regularly, played with everyday, and we start our crate training after mom stops nursing and I become mom.We take the extra time needed to crate our puppies twice a day, for feeding times!! This is done for 2 reasons, firstly so that each pup gets the time needed to eat!! Pups are like people, some eat slow, some fast!! sooooo this way, we can insure each pup gets to eat, and the fast eaters do not eat all the food!! For this reason, when our pups leave,they are all close to the same size, NO runts!!! Secondly,crating our pups twice a day for feeding, gets them used to being crated, and they get to love the crate and look forward to crating!!! The crate becomes a safe place, soooooo that when it is time to leave home, those who have to ship out are not scared of the crate!!! This is ALOT OF EXTRA WORK, BUT, WELL WORTH IT, AS OUR PUPS DO NOT ARRIVE SCARED AND STRESSED OUT!!! YES, we LOVE OUR PUPS!! AND GO THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE WELL ADJUSTED AND READY TO LEAVE HOME~!
Huskies are VERY loving, smart playful and-- can be very stubborn. They are pack oriented, and are meant to be part of a family unit. They learn very fast, but-- do not like to be ignored. They behave better when they are included in your daily routine and are also very content when they have other huskies to play with.The more time you spend with your siberian husky and the more exercise you give them, the happier they will be. They love to go on walks,runs, or if you are phsyically able, love to go roller blading too!! Adding a siberian husky to your family can be the best possible decision that you can make, as they are very loving and can make your worst day at the office, just disappear in a split second, but-- they can also be quite a handful at times. They can learn very fast, that is IF they want to. They can be stubborn, and the more time you spend with them, the better they behave, soooooo please do your research, and if you are still in love with the breed, I will do my best to try to match you with just the perfect puppy that meets your family needs..
